Lunner | Jølstad funeral homes

The brothers Håvard and Erland Ekeberg own Jølstad funeral home, Lunner department. The Lunner department was established by Odd Nilsen and his wife in 1970, under the name Lunner funeral home. Nilsen had previously run a flower shop for 10 years, but from 1970 it became both a flower shop and a funeral home. In 1990, Hans Narve Berg took over, before selling to Gøril Kraggerud in 1997.

New name and premises with meeting rooms and displays

In 2009, she sold the flower shop, and on January 1, 2010, the Brothers Ekeberg took over the agency. The funeral home also became a part of Jølstad at that time. The flower shop was closed in 2011, and the premises were converted into a purely funeral home office with meeting rooms and display rooms for caskets, grave lights, and gravestones. From August 1, 2016, the office has been moved to the old, prestigious Garverigården, and the name has been changed to Jølstad funeral home, Lunner department.

The Brothers Ekeberg also own Hadeland funeral home, which they took over on January 1, 2009, and Jølstad funeral home, Gran department, which they started on October 1, 2007.

24-hour manned emergency hotline and pick-up service

Our emergency phone is manned 24 hours a day, even on weekends and holidays. This means that you can call us at any time for immediate assistance or to make a prior appointment for a meeting. We have our own pickup service in the event of death, which is on standby 24/7.

We serve the nearby areas of Gran, Lunner, and Jevnaker, but also take on assignments outside the Hadeland district.

To find our premises, you can turn off from Hadelandsvegen just south of Lunner town hall, and onto Garverivegen. There are several parking spaces outside the building.
